On 7 January, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City said that Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just signed a decision approving the establishment of Da Nang Centralized IT Park (Da Nang IT Park - DITP), phase 1, including 131 hectares, located in Hoa Lien commune (Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City).

This decision makes DITP enjoy preferential policies for the IT concentrated area under Decree 154 of 2013 and other policies. Accordingly, the Government assigns the People's Committee of City to prioritize allocating budget for developing infrastructure connecting to DITP and non-business social infrastructure in the area, as well as synchronous solutions to attract large enterprises, foreign corporations to invest here.

 
DITP was originally invested by US investors with the scale of 341 ha (2 phases) and 278 million USD. However, it is because of lacking capital, slow progress that leads to delay from phase 1 and being issued the ultimatum recovered many times by People's Committee of Da Nang City.
