On July 14, 2020, at Da Nang Seaport, Danang Information Technology Development Joint Stock Company (Danang IT Park - DITP ) has completed customs clearance and imported 15 machines out of the total 42 machines belonging to the assembly line of the Technology Incubation and Production Technology Project using Surface Mount Technology(SMT).
Incubation Project: Research, Production, Assembly of high-tech electronic equipment SMT implemented by DITP with a total investment of 7 million USD; initially deployed at the 1000 m2 factory in Da Nang High-Tech Park. The objective of the Project is to test assembly and manufacture of electronic products and electronic circuits; be a premise for the development of specialized factory and manufacturing projects in the future. In addition, the Incubation Project is a step to build and train highly qualified human resources and workers to operate the factories being invested in construction in subdivisions A1, A2 and A5 of centralized Da Nang IT zone with a total 17 factories from 2 to 6 floors.
In subdivision A2, DITP is investing in factories manufacturing electronic components and ICT auxiliary products with a floor area from 4000m2 to 6000m2. Zones A1 and A5 will be constructed with the purpose of leasing specialized factories with floor area ranging from 4000m2 to 8000m2. In these areas, DITP also focuses on developing accompanying utilities, such as constructing exhibition space, sports ground - tennis, bringing many amenities for people living and working here.
It is expected that by October 2020, the installation of equipment will be completed and test run in November 2020. Official operating time on the production lines of DITP factories will take place in early 2021.
For the first phase, DITP has completed the steps of synchronizing the technical infrastructure. The Prime Minister issued Decision 27 / QD-TTg on establishing a centralized Da Nang IT zone - Phase 1, effective from January 6, 2020. For the second phase, DITP expects the People's Committee of Da Nang to hand over the second phase ground, as well as support related procedures for investors to soon implement the next steps of the project.
