In the midst of the US-China trade war and the Coronavirus crisis has revealed the fragility of the modern supply chain, recent data shows the devastating economic impact as week-on-week trade in China, the US and Europe .

 Diverse sourcing and digitization will be the key to building stronger, smarter supply chains and ensuring a lasting recovery. Many big corporations prepare for this by relocating their factories. Vietnam is one of the countries facing the opportunity to catch the wave of investment from these corporations.

According to Foxconn Chairman Young Liu, Vietnam is Foxconn's largest manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia, and capacity there is bigger than in India. Vietnam has many advantages, especially through the good control of the Covid pandemic, proving that Vietnam has a safe investment environment. In addition, the government has made continuous efforts to create favorable conditions and preferential policies to attract foreign investors.

Facing such an opportunity, Danang IT Park (DITP) in particular has prepared itself the necessary actions to welcome investors both at home and abroad. The project with a total area of 341 hectares is planned in two phases, phase 1 (131 ha) has basically completed the infrastructure. Subdivisions A1, A2, A5 are being built for 16 buildings of specialized ICT factory.

In the next few months, the machinery and equipment will be imported for SMT high-tech electronics production and assembly factory. These machines will be tested in advance in November before officially put into operation.
