On October 30, 2020, Trung Nam Joint Stock Company officially signed a cooperation contract and handed over the DITP Tower 2-storey site to LG Electronics Vietnam.

We believe that LG Electronics Vietnam absolutely has the foundations, reasons together with the necessary careful consideration when deciding to locate an R&D Center here. Da Nang's electronics and auxiliary industries are undeveloped, but with its potential, along with the vision and determination of major investors such as LG, Trungnam and others, the support from the city government, we believe that turning Da Nang into a Silicon Valley in Vietnam is completely feasible ”- Mr. Nguyen Anh Huy, General Director of Da Nang Information Technology Park Development JSC (DITP), Deputy General Director of Trung Nam JSC emphasized.

Along with the inauguration of the Project of Research, manufacture and assembly of high-tech electronics equipment Surface Mount Technology (on October 17, 2020, invested by Trung Nam Group with a total capital of 7 million USD); the event that LG Electronics Vietnam decided to place its second R&D Center at DITP Tower, affirmed the first respectful progress recorded in attracting investment in high-tech in the Northwest of Danang.
The above mentioned projects and cooperation plans have realized the desire to contribute to the development of the Northwestern area of Da Nang to soon become a civilized and modern new urban area, forming a community of high quality experts.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Huy, the first mission of the project "Research, manufacture and assembly of high-tech electronics equipment Surface Mount Technology" is to train quality engineers who will contribute for Trung Nam, Da Nang city and operate the most advanced electronic board processing technology in the world.
The second mission is to demonstrate to domestic and foreign partners that, right in the High-Tech Park - Information Technology Park in Da Nang city, we are ready to implement electronic products from the simplest to the most complicated, from motherboards serving common consumption, to boards serving the medical industry, even security and defense ... according to the most stringent quality requirements.
“The final mission is that through this project, Trung Nam JSC has built a development strategy for the entire manufacturing area of Da Nang Information Technology Park, Trung Nam's vision is to turn this place into Trung Nam Silicon, where Trung Nam is now rushing to implement investments starting with 5 international-standard factories in subdivision A2, specialist area and facilities for professionals and workers here.”
Trung Nam Group and LG Electronics Vietnam together signed a very meaningful contract and officially became strategic partners. With our available resources, we commit that we will do our best to support LG in first steps, specifically locating the R&D Center in the DITP building. LG Electronics has officially invested in Da Nang City with the expectation of building a leading R&D Center in Vietnam. In addition, LG Electronics also cooperates and signs agreements with universities in the area to train and develop high-quality human resources in the IT field, create job opportunities, and build a dynamic and professional working environment.
The representative of LG Electronics also expressed his wish that Trung Nam and Da Nang City would support member companies, R&D Center, satellite manufacturers, and auxiliary manufacturers of LG Group to survey and invest in Da Nang.
